Pirate Ship aground in Gulfport/Biloxi MS

After reading some on HAARP, I clicked on Weather Modification which is an interesting read. But what I chuckled about was the section on In religion and mythology where it explains The Finnish people, on the other hand, were believed by others to be able to control weather. As a result, Vikings refused to take Finns on their oceangoing raids. Remnants of this superstition lasted into the twentieth century, with some ship crews being reluctant to accept Finnish sailors. The early modern era saw people observe that during battles the firing of cannons and other firearms often initiated precipitation.

Now I know why my father didn't have much good to say about the Norwegian neighbour. :laughing7:

I found that, but it doesn't have anything to do with aircraft condensation trails. It's got to do with bouncing radio waves off the atmosphere, same thing I do with my ham radio.

I was thinking I had lost something in reading, good to see you came up with the same explanation.
