Pirate Master ?

Well, I said on 7/10 that I didn't think it would make it so I didn't get involved with the characters and quit watching early.

Burnett is the godfather of reality shows but we've been beat to death with them and even he can't turn a sow's ear into a silk purse. Survivor is the one and only...and still the best, in my opinion.

I agree it isn't a Nail Biter.

But neither has Survivor been lately.
Last few Seasons of Survivor, I purposly stopped watching
half way through, Because there was nobody Intresting left to watch.
Personally I think they are told who must go & who
is bringing in Ratings, & must stay.

If the person Resembles someone from a Previous show
& was liked, They stay.

But even if Pirate Master only had 100 viewers,
The people who were there were told to keep Quiet
untill the Final Episode. They & their friends & Relatives
are Proud of what they did. and want to see it finish.

I'm sure they were either sent CD's or were told to watch it on line.

But my guess not everyone who wants to see it,
knows it's on line & Can Access it.

For what little they care ;
CBS Looses points in my Book.

I agree with you that the Survivor producers have some input as to who stays or goes according to the ratings and I'm sure they push folks gently (or maybe not so gently) in one direction or another.

There's a show on the Bravo channel that I watch called Top Chef (I don't know why I watch it but cooking always interested me) and in their closing credits there's a blurb about decisions being made with input from the producers....so there ya go.

Pirate Master’s Cheryl committed suicide, cast members say

Cheryl Kosewicz, a cast member on CBS’ now-cancelled Pirate Master, has died as a result of suicide, according to online postings by some of her fellow cast members.
