Pinpointers?

I have been looking forward to getting a pin pointer for metal detecting. I have looked at the Harbor Freight pin pointer for 20.00 bucks, but I have also been looking at the Garrett THD. Any information on these or any other pin pointer will be gladly accepted. Thank You and HH.

I have the crappy one that came with my F2. It works, but you have to be right on the thing for it to go off. It's still helpful because I can poke into my plugs and run it through loose dirt, and it saves me a lot of time there.

I'm gonna upgrade to a pro pointer soon though.

I'm gonna upgrade to a pro pointer soon though.

I've noticed with pro pointer if I hold it in left hand by wedding ring to where it almost detects ring I get a lot more depth with pro pointer. Try it it really works.

Another one for the Garrett Pro pointer. I had never used one before (been detecting for 20 years). Decided to try one out & gave it the first try yesterday. Great little addition.

The one from Harbor Freight isn't very reliable so I wouldn't get it unless you have no option. I love my Vibra Probe.

Tried my pro pointer today for the first time, it really does work as good as everyone says.
