Add a pinpointer spotlight to your pinpointer. The buzzer in most pinpointers works on 3.8v. this is usually the voltage required for a super bright LED. Install the super bright LED in the front of your pinpointer and wire it to your buzzer. That way it only goes on when a target is located. The buzzer will usually have a red+ and Black- wire attached. The long lead on the LED goes to the red+ wire on the buzzer the short lead goes to the black- wire. If the buzzer is mounted on the board, good luck. If you have the Harbor Freight pinpointer, change the front LED wiring to the buzzer or replace the LED with a super bright LED. The light points right at the target, you can't miss it!
