Syd Barrett trying to figure out what he is abstand02.jpg
(cheese Burgers ? What are Cheeseburgers ?)

This second American TV performance followed the format of the previous day's show (The Pat Boone Show, during which Syd Barrett stared blankly at Boone during a Q&A session and later remained motionless as they mimed See Emily Play, his arms hanging limply by his side as he refused to mouth the words.)After miming to See Emily Play the group participated in an insane Q&A session with host Dick Clark. This was followed by a mimed performance of their latest single, Apples And Oranges. A poor quality B&W film of the latter song has recently surfaced but the rest of the show remains unseen since its original transmission. The visual evidence of Syd's wasted state confirms that his days with the band indeed were numbered.

Think That's Freeky, Look at the eyes of the Kid sitting to the right of Dick :laughing7:

That was too painful to sit through. :BangHead: Even fast forwarding to hear the interview was just as bad. :censored:

Jeff, people will really think Pink Floyd sucks after seeing this video :laughing7:

it was funny watching dick walk around trying to get an intelligent sentence from one of them,
and giving up :laughing7:

whatever acid Syd was on, he must have shared it with the rest

Yeah, that interview was one to leave heads nodding, I think everyone was out of their skulls :laughing7:

You see, my problem although you did mention Pink Floyd at their worst, is that anyone not familiar with the band will think they really do suck, and never give them a good listening to :tongue3:

I think "Dark side of the Moon" should have taken care of that,
at least for everyone not in a Nursery or Nursing home

released in March 1973
741 weeks on the Billboard Album Charts till 1988

not to mention animals, & Wish you were here. of course the wall made History.

My favorites actually started with Piper at the gates of Dawn, & ended with the wall
although now The wall is my least favorite because of over play.

& I couldn't get into the final cut which sounded like outakes from the wall
