took some more picks after i soaked it, lg cent and connec copper in pics for ref.......could a coin just wear in the ground in that perfect shape? i dont know what it is i guess ill have it checked out, orig post is on today's finds with the orig pics i took after just finding the coin it is 27mm at 51 grains, just hair thinner than connec copper, i think it resembles the pine tree on the mass copper but not the same size and no other detail to help.....what do you think?

To me, it looks more like an arrow pointing up. How about an elevator button ?

I can certainly see the shape, but who knows? What do you see in this
LC before I cleaned it?

I see the bust from a buffalo nickel facing left instead of right though. The years really can be cruel to big coppers. Unless some spade shaped item was lying on top of your coin, I'd say "yes", especially if I had found it, lol. Thanks for sharing the pics and finds.

If you look at images of real Pine Tree coins, you will see that your's even as worn as it is doesn't have the correct shaped "tree" to be a Pine Tree coin, sorry but I tend to agree with FreeBirdTim.
