dont forget that no matter what junk it is, its still got scrap value. i take all my scrap brass, aluminum, copper, etc and toss it in a bin. when the bin gets full, it goes to the scrap metal place. clean copper (as in bare metal) is at over $2 a pound!

Yeap, I've been offered £1000 for 300kgms of 200 year old Lead for the computer industry.

It's solid...I have been told that it is part of a candle stick holder. The socket like end would hold the candle...on the other end where it is broken would have been a screw to attach it...
