Hi everybody !

I found a week ago a piece of bronze or brass with décorations (leaves, branches, geometric paterns like dots or lines) on it.
I don't know what it can be. A piece of ancient vase? A plate?

Is it modern or ancient?

The object was found in a forest in France, 40 km above the town of Lyon.

Thaks a lot !!

Welcome to Tnet! Interesting item. Is your gauge in inches or centimeters? Is the item flat?

Sorry, I forgot to mention that my ruler is in centimeters.

And yes, the item is flat. About 1 milimeter flat. And on the verso, as you can notice on my 2nd photo, the relief of the recto is clearly visible.

And thank you for the welcoming !!
