Here are some pics of the latest shovel I have decided to incorporate into my treasure hunting bag of goodies.

I have been looking for an inexpensive, light weight shovel and I finally found this little jewel at the local HEB food store here in Texas. I don't like to pay high dollar for anything that I might have to discard later due to overuse, so I was really happy to find this little item for $4.97!

The blade (when purchased) was not exactly "sharp", but that took about 5 minutes with a flat {word that can't be used} file and a little elbow grease.

Now that I had my shovel sharpened, I figured it wouldn't hurt to let the thing know what it was supposed to be lookin for, so I painted the bottom half of the blade. NOW, this shovel should DEFINITELY find the GOLD!! :icon_sunny:

I think the "B" word would be ok because it is what it is. LOL

That looks like a nice size shovel and pretty paint job.
Hope it gets worn off when you find the color you are looking for.

Nice shovel, I bought one recently pretty close to that (Craftsman) at Sears. It has come in handy more than once for those really deep pulltabs!
