No, I'm not silly enough to believe what the thrift store person was trying to tell me about this item. The sales clerk was being serious and I almost laughed out loud when I heard that. In Fact I grew up in Michigan where these fish are native and as a trout fisherman It was recognized instantly as a Grayling. There are plenty of bass mounts and such around here but a nice trophy Grayling like this may be a little more rare. The fish is about 18 inches, they don't grow very large at all. Paid $20 and left the bass and brim mounts at the store.
