Picked up $1,000 in $1 Bills

I'll post my results here tomorrow. I wish this post get half as much traffic as the CRH does. I guess the paper currency doesn't have the same draw as the silver.

Oh well, probably means less competition.

Whatcha looking for, anything inparticular or or anything you can find? Star notes, high numbers, low numbers, ladders, solids, repeaters ? I used to search ones, haven't done it for a couple years. Good luck.

I look for radars, consecutive star notes (normally won't keep the non consecutive ones), low serials (3 digits), really high serials (3 9s at the beginning), web notes, Barr notes, old notes, ladders, binary's. Sometimes I keep ones that have funky repeating patterns if I like them.

I also look for errors. I had sold several of my better finds on eBay but not I mostly keep them. I think I'll do $5k a week for awhile and see how productive it is. I've worked out a deal with my bank so I can dump at the same bank but won't get the same bills twice.

Results on Saturday.

I found 4 star notes, one with 6 5's, several with 5 of a kind, one was 00030500, and an almost perfect ladder. Nothing old.

I'm hoping for better luck next time. I'm getting 1,000 more on Monday.

I don't have much luck with paper money, but you got some nice finds!

Believe it or not, I find most of my star notes when I least expect it. (I normally search all my change).

That's basically also what I've been holding on to. However, I'm a sucker for ANY star notes.
I went through $400 last week and found only one star note.
