Not a problem Bill.I don,t have a pear tree anymore but when I did they looked just like that.Peel em and enjoy!

I love pears, bought a bag of them last night.
Yes they are very good enjoy
We have a big apple tree and two large pear trees.luckily the deer cannot reach the higher ones.we used to have several peach trees that used to produce so many but I ended up losing them..sending this next time I’m out I will look for a few more trees and I will have to fence them in as the deer will destroy them with their antlers

When we had pear trees and they were loaded we used clothes line poles to prop up the branches until the pears were ready. Then we used the poles to pull the fruit off. If you pick when they are slightly green you can wrap them in newspaper to ripen

Thank you for your advice I never can reach the upper pears a pole will definitely help and my wife always says they need to ripen..now I have all the answers
