Pick a Site?trip

The problem with Texas is, that everything is on PRIVATE LAND !
Even the infamous "West Texas Weapons Cache"!

LeJeuene:
I am into, full time TH'ing and prospecting.
Just what kind of adventure are looking for ?
I am usually camped in remote areas/sites!
OR!
Along the US/Mexico Border! :-\
I use a "Basecamp" and operate out/from there.

Bill - The only treasure hunting I have done is on beaches with my MD. I have never done any real cache hunting. It only sparked my interest after picking up a couple of books on the subject. I will say it had grabbed my interest. I am trying to do more research on possible treasures in south Louisiana and go from there. You never know... ;). With some serious homework on possiblities and then going to the field, that is what I would call and adventure. Any tips on treasures in south Louisiana? It is rumured Jean Lafitte has several out here.

Hi:
I just happened to be sitting on the computer, trying to get out some letters/notes on my Legal Matters!
I used to live in Boumont (sp?), Tx.
I had a few sites picked out in and around the coast.
Near the mouth of The Sabine River ! (LA/TX sides)
In fact, I live in Corpus Christi (actually about 40 miles NW of town) now!
About, a 6 hour drive from The Sabine !

Bill,

I am in south Louisiana. Close to the coast. Just a beginner here, but very interested. I understand that the SW portion of Louisiana and the Galveston area are rich in possibilities.

CptBil,
I sent an e-mail to my prospecting buddy to see what his thoughts are. We are both working stiffs in our fifties but we try to meet twice a year or so and either prospect, check out some TH story, or just drink and tell war stories if all else fails. I'll drop you a line when he replies. His job seems to keep him chained to the grindstone a little more than mine does. Thanks for the invite. I hope it works out as I was starting to get disenchanted with prospecting. Later, DasHurts
