photo of a mans face.....in a rock!?

Re: photo of a man's face.....in a rock!?

Kaloy......Your talkin about the bald guy with the squinty eyes, Roman nose, pouty lips, and bull neck leading down to a white tee shirt peeking out from under a cardigan sweater?
Nope ....dont see it....Joe

Re: photo of a man's face.....in a rock!?

Put it on ebay, I saw a grilled cheese sandwich with the virgin mary fetch quite a bit of $$$$!

Re: photo of a man's face.....in a rock!?

based on the marks made on this rock, it is really a man's face. in the treasure code i am using, a man's face is directional.

now, it is somewhat confirmed by this 'unusual face' appeared when i took the picture.

I just noticed that the very first post by Kaloy was this exact same rock, in early September of last year, and it's been featured in a couple of his other posts as well, always with different questions about it. Is there some significance to this particular rock?

yes. this rock is the prime marker of one of the biggest treasure caches in our town!

I agree with Hollow on this.

After the circle was Drawn, the face did Pop out at me, & the funny thing is when I look at the top one now I also see it.

However If I stare at my Bathroom Carpeting I see the same type Faces
no matter where I stare, & the same goes for the rock.

Can you see the same face you Circled at an Angle ? (Profile)
or only straight on ?
IF Only straight on, is it Carved ?
if neither, I think it's just a Natural thing, like seeing a face in
the clouds.

Either way, I don't see anyone attacking you above.

Jeff

Re: photo of a man's face.....in a rock!?

Pareidolia (pronounced /pɛɹaɪˈdoliə/ or /pæraɪˈdəʊliə/), first used in 1994 by Steven Goldstein[1], describes a psychological phenomenon involving a vague and random stimulus (often an image or sound) being mistakenly perceived as recognizable. Common examples include images of animals or faces in clouds, seeing the man in the moon, and hearing messages on records played in reverse. The word comes from the Greek para- – amiss, faulty, wrong – and eidolon – image, the diminutive of eidos – appearance, form.

Human beings are apparently "hard-wired" to identify the human face. This may explain why pareidolia so often manifests itself as seeing human faces where none in fact exist.[2]

Skeptics assert that sightings of religious or iconic figures in everyday objects, such as Marian apparitions, are examples of pareidolia, as are some cases of electronic voice phenomena. The Face on Mars is a phenomenon that succeeded the Martian canals, both eventually attributed to pareidolia, when the "seen" images disappeared in better and more numerous images. Many Canadians thought they saw the face of the Devil in the Queen's hair on a dollar bill in the 1954 series, adapted from a photograph.

A similar phenomenon is the clustering illusion.

The Rorschach inkblot test uses pareidolia to attempt to gain insight into a person's mental state. While this test is still widely employed, its scientific basis is disputed, and no studies have shown empirical confirmation of success.

The publicity surrounding sightings of religious figures and other surprising images in ordinary objects, combined with the growing popularity of online auctions, has spawned a market for pareidolic items on eBay. One famous instance was a grilled-cheese sandwich with the Virgin Mary's face.[3]

in this discussion, 'positive' should be taken as something that is favorable. therefore, anything that is not favorable is negative.
i'm not talking about the universal meaning of the word negative....

if you look upon the inputs, only few gave a 'positive' replies, right?

in treasure hunting, sometimes you need to be sensitive on details. this is an investigation
process. it is critical that you possess this skill.
caution: don't be oversensitive to the point that you can no longer distinguish reality from illusion....
me? i just brought this topic to extract ideas from THs all over the world.
what i've discovered?...its top secret.

Re: photo of a man's face.....in a rock!?

Sorry, but what I see in no way resembles a human face. Must be the way my mind works.
