Petrified wood?

I was at bridal veil falls in Utah with a friend when we found this weird rock. It looks like petrified wood on one side, but the other side looks like quartz or something. Picture:





What do you make of it?

Hello,

A friend told what it was, it’s quartz with Sandstone. Pretty deceptive.

Still a cool find in my opinion.
