Thats a nice looking piece. I have 2 made from pine that are large and you can still see the bark and a knot on it. My neighbors wife hit it with his mower and was going to throw the darn rocks away as he told me. I told him I would take it off his hands for him...lol

It is getting harder to find things like that. Most comes from south, southeast Texas. Really nice piece though.

It took him 3 trips to get it but he got it!!! hahaha It is real nice. That's pretty cool for you - and the neighbors wife thought it was just a "darn rock"? Pity. But SCORE for you :occasion14:

Mike is the ultimate fossil/rock hound. He gets a bit of a giggle watching me play and look. He is serious when he goes out but every now and then he will pick up something for me to just make me smile that he wouldn't have otherwise picked up. I like that.
