Went out to a local school for a bit today. Got this wonderful, consistent 90 hit. They have been very few and far apart lately. :dontknow:

I was being very careful as I figured this had to be a good one. It wasn't deep at all In fact, as soon as I flipped the plug I saw it laying there.

Money + Clip = Moneyclip. Right?

The problem? Well, the clip is a relic. What it's holding are coins. I can't clean the relic without cleaning the coins. :icon_scratch:

I guess we'll just have to be satisfied without ever knowing what is inside. ;) :dontknow:

Anyway, here's the rest:

Even had my ride show up.

Complete with keys! ;)

Thanks for peeking!

The clip looks like an everyday folder clip, not a relic. I'd get those coins out and see what they are!

open that thing and tell us what those coins are

I could not sleep until I cracked that thing open ! What if you have some kind of key date coin ? Anyway, I don't think that clip is very old so... I think you have a Kennedy half and a clad quarter... You never know though could be a key date, and the reason why I could not sleep. Haha, cool find !!

Keep @ it and HH !!

But, one is never, ever, ever, ever, supposed to clean a coin!!!! I can't try to move the relic without hurting the patina on the coins! I guess we'll just never know.

Durn burn rules!!! ;)

very interesting find. that's a first me, never seen anyone use a clip for coins. it's always cool to see these odd surprise finds

:hello:Looks like a clad Washington quarter and a Jefferson nickel. It is hard to say tho since the zoom won't work for me ???. Hey WhadIfind here is an idea maybe you should add a poll and have people guess the coins denominations and either clad or silver:headbang: Then open up and clean and let us know !:laughing7:

P.S. Now zoom works for me on first picture, looks like a silver quarter hmm...

I'm curious to know about the lizard?!!

He should have been in the pic with the relic in the hole with the pinpointer.

Great finds !

That looks like a modern paper-clip used in offices everywhere, looks like clad too (I could be wrong)
