Hi all ,here is a picture of where i was babysat as a kid , I'm now 30.Before that it was an old school for kids in the country area back in the 1900s,if you look close you can see where a door used to be ,this was the front door when it was a school. I have went back for a visit and have received permission to hunt whenever i like. Jon who has since passed but is survived by his wife Doris, my old baby sitter and there 2 sons . Shes has told me to talk to them for more spots Jon used to go, they live not to far.He had an old Garrett 25 years ago and i remember some old coins he had found around here, he gave me 8 large Canadian coins the oldest is 1859 when i was a kid ,this is the time i was introduced to MD. So I'm hoping there is something left, i know he cleaned it out back 25 yeas ago with the old Garrett but there has to be more. I have just sold my Tesoro Deleon to get a Tejon. Its coming next week cant wait . I'm going to work this as much as i can this summer and will post some of my finds. I'm excited. Thanks for looking,HH

Great post. Nice detecting spot you lucky dog. Congrats on getting permission.
I can feel the old coins already. ;D
Good luck,
MM

Peak, good luck with your new hunting spot. Look forward to seeing your posts.

Very nice,,, I'm sure, that even if you find nothing at all, the memories of your childhood around there will be well worth the effort...
Good luck, & Happy hunting~

Nice pics... I agree with ModernMiner, the new detector you have on the way is sure to make it seem like this spot hasn't been hunted... ;D

Pak,
It must be cool to go hunt a place where you grew up.
I believe there is stil coins to be found.
Stay at it, they will come your way.

Thanks eveyone. Im going there next week. Ill let you all know what i find.

This guy who lived there seems to be a Professional Treasure Hunter. I won't say its hunted out, cause nothing is truly hunted out. I do think the pickins will be slim however.

Good Luck ;D

Keep @ it and HH!!

always worth a look see--you never know what you might find. Ivan
