No counting the bells and whistles. What about the x-terra is better than the at pro? Stock coil vs stock coil, I mean. By performance, I mean depth, recovery and all of that.
I'm having a hard time deciding which one to get. On one hand, the at pro is 600, but on the other hand I will need to purchase a garret pro pointer which is an additional 120. Meanwhile, the xterra comes bundled with the pro pointer and a nice digger from this site I plan on buying it from and it costs about the same as the at pro and propointer combined.
But also, I'm gonna be doing a lot of metal detecting in the rain, and the Garrett at pro is water proof. Such a hard decision, so I'm gonna choose whichever one performs better
