Look real to me.And can tell you being you have two of things it most likely is from a old double barrel shot gun.Like pics. below.................

repop? You mean REPRODUCTION? No, as far as you can tell from a picture they look authentic, the patina is correct.

Just to conclude your pieces would be most likely english & would date around 1840-50 range.Was wondering if there are any marks on the hammer mounting plates?
Another very much like yours.

What you have is a set of back action locks most likely from a double barrel shotgun, or possibly a double rifle. If I had those parts I would be really tempted to build a gun with them, stocks and modern barrels can be bought for reasonable prices and it would be a fun project. ( I really like building black powder guns) As to their origin, they could be European, or American, it's hard to tell on a lot of them unless they are marked. Check the locks for any kind of proof marks, also the large part in the second pic, (the "tang" which held the barrels into the stock) is a good place to look for marks.

The only piece marked is the butt plate. It is marked with a number "2" with a smaller "H" under it. Thanks again to all, the replies have been informative
