Percentages on Dimes?

I average 1 dime per a box ($250) So [HOPEFULLY] you atleast get 4! Maybe you'll get a good collection dump =)
Happy hunting! keep us posted!

Thanks! I actually just found another 64D, so I'm hoping to this will above average to make up for my previous bags.

I just got my first $1000 bag of dimes from a coin counter, and I'm wondering what would be good/average/bad percentages for silver? I've found one '64D so far!

1.4 per box ($250), over a sample size of ~110 boxes.

Just tell us know when you have finished up.

I generally average one per box...

1.3 per box this year. $1k bags yield much better, just over 8.5 per bag.

My average was a little bit over 1 per box, but out of the last ten boxes I have found four.

Finally finished. I wound up with 7 silver Roosevelt's, which seems to be average to slightly above average, so I'm pretty happy.

Here are the dates:
1948 D
1957
1960
1962 D
1964
1964 D x 2

And just as random info, I also found a cent, a quarter and a Canadian dime.

Thanks for the info everybody!

I'm averaging about 1.25 silver dimes - including 2 Canadian 80% silver - per $250 box. Sample size only 30 boxes.

I was thinking about buying the bags of dimes from our coin counter but I found out quite happily that it rejects silver. so I know now to not waste my time with that. And i got a 1964 dime out of the deal. hehe. So far I am zero for dimes on my first box. Bummer, I was hopeing for at least some canadian silver at least. Oh well, onto next week.

Hugs and Smiles,
