People buy the craziest things.. at least to me. Posted this on Famous's "Things I look for at garage sales".
I had read somewhere (probably here) to look out for "perfume". Last weekend, we went to a sale and got there about an hour after it started. Ended up with a nice size box of misc. items for $20. I found a bunch of men's cologne bottles (see below). Knowing to keep an eye out for perfumes, I took a chance. Lots of people there and stuff to go through, so I did not Iphone research anything. Wife thought I was totally nuts buying them.
I have most of the colognes listed and they are ending in the next 1-3 days. Some are with boxes, maybe half have been opened and some of the cologne has been used in many of them. Judging by the boxes, research, and store price tags, they all seem to be 20-30 yrs. old, give or take. I listed non-international sales, except a couple, that I changed later. One I did not change because some one bid and Ebay pulled it because of a foreign manufacturer complaint.
So far bids total $169, they are listed in 8 diff. auctions. I'll update at end of auctions. I still have 4 colognes (duplicates) left to sell. They luckily are the ones going for the most $$. I will list them in 30 days (to many same category items per Ebay.. must wait 30 days). What a JOKE!
