It my typical interest area but it was close to a door and I needed a little fresh air inside this church.

Any ideas on how to list and a starting bid. Tempted to do an auction. Starting bid $149.99

Separate everything. Cameras, lenses, filters, etc. Sell individually, or camera body paired with appropriate lens if it helps the value. No photographer or camera enthusiast will want or need ALL of those things combined, but there are plenty that will bid up a lens, camera body, etc.

I am not an expert on these, but I do sell photo equipment somewhat regularly, researching as I go. Best practice if you are going to start buying photo stuff is to learn the basic operation of SLR cameras and lenses, and do a quick check to ensure it's working and without fungus/busted aperture/bad shutter etc. Camera buyers tend to equate "untested" with "not working", and for good reason.

I can't quite make it out from the pics, but if the 50mm lens on the Nikon body is an OEM Nikon lens that works, you have some decent money there. Best item in the lot to my eye.

I'll take a closer look at the Nikon lens. It was connected to the camera when I purchased it. I need to buy a few batteries to proceed.
Thank you for the information. MUCH appreciated!!

I agree - separate those camera bodies for sure. You can bundle filters and stuff like that. That K1000 should get you 50-100 depending on condition. Did you get all of this from the same place? How much did you pay? (if you don't mind answering that)

I buy and sell quite a bit of photo stuff. I agree with the above advice about selling the items individually. The flash attachments (like the Starblitz on the Nikon) are virtually worthless even if they work so I wouldn't waste my time on those. Starblitz, by the way, is an aftermarket brand. They also make lenses that fit "name" brand cameras but their stuff is not particularly high quality and doesn't sell. This is also true of most other aftermarket brands. Bushnell comes to mind. I'm not sure about Quantaray. Never heard of them.

Most of the value of what you have is in the lenses. The short lenses (like the 50mm Nikon) should bring $30 - $40 or so if the optics are clear (no scratches or mold growth). Same for the Pentax lens. If that long lens on the Minolta is a Minolta lens, it should probably bring $40 - $50. Is the Canon lens an auto-focus (or electronic focus)? I think it is. If so, it will probably fit the newer digital cameras and will bring $50 or so - maybe more. If that is an older film camera without autofocus, the lens won't mount to the newer digitals which will hurt the value.

The camera bodies have some value if they work. Without actually taking pictures and having them developed, you can't be sure everything works properly but you can test the the film advance lever and the shutter release.

Yep. All from the same church sale. Paid $40 at first, then I went back and paid $12 for the rest of the stuff in the box. I was afraid there would be a lens or cap or something in the rest, so I figured it wasn't worth the risk. So, $52 for the lot.

Thanks for the wealth of info. I'm hoping to start listing these tonight, Wed night at the very latest.
