Hey all. Got out today at the neighbor's house. Dates to 1906.

I did pick up a pin-pointer thanks to all of the suggestions on my last post. It made A HUGE difference and sped recovery time up by probably 75%. Thanks for the advice!

Got a toy cowboy/sheriff badge, junk ring, pewter/lead lamb (nativity piece?), 1 silver Rosie (1957), 18 wheats (oldest was 1919), a Pontiac pin, 2 clad quarters, 1 clad dime, 1940 nickel, and 31 memorial cents.

54 coins, and only one silver, lol. At least I know I was first on the lot.

Cheers,

Nice haul! 54 coins, one silver...actually not a bad ratio. There's been plenty of times I've walked off with 50 coins, none being silver. I agree you broke the seal on that site, which means there's probably plenty more great stuff to be found..Ddf

nice job, the rest of the silver is there somewhere waiting!

Lots of digging. Congrats and I'd be happy with 50 to 1. It could always be worse like 50 tab pulls. ha ha

pretty good haul, with a few coins that old, should be a merc hiding somewhere

You did great! I've probably found 200+ coins in old sites over the last week. 10 Wheats, no silver. You did better than me!

Hi, nice hunt with some nice finds. Congrats:icon_thumleft:

That lamb and the Pontiac pin are awesome!
