Penny Day at Abandoned farm

I hunted at an old abandoned farm, I have been there several times before. And this place has never produced silver. I wanted to give it another try since it is close to home. I managed 4 wheats, oldest was 1910. The grass is just too high, it was never mowed at all last year and it is all matted down from the snow etc.....I tried! Got an old insulator too it is dated 1893, it was sticking in mud.

Still a good hunt! I would bring my weed eater and use it around that big old tree.

Very nice finds. I know what your going thru. I have a place close to home too. Only found 1 wheat back and 1 indian head, no silver. Keep a hunting, probably some other interesting stuff there. Parts of jewlery or othere things.

Looks similar to my grandfather's old farm in eastern Oregon. Your farm should have some nice finds.
And I like Plebah's idea......but, first contact the owner, and see if you can run a few goats. They will take
care of the growth. And he/she might be glad to get rid of the weeds. Keep us posted!
