you sure that isn't a vitro instead of a pelt. I don't know what mcr stands for. t looks to me like a screwed up all-red. or maybe a little parrot-ish.

thanks cheese, i didn't have it in hand and think that would make a difference for me to be able to tell. or maybe i am not much of an expert on marbles.lol
 

Sure! The colors are pretty common on Pelt MCRs and MCSs, and the deal is sealed with that dirty green transparent base glass that you can see in the lower right picture.
 

thanks cheese, went through my pelts last night and found two similar looking, except didn't have the green. Thanks for the info, I never liked initials too much to remember!
 

This type will pretty much always be on a transparent glass, usually dirty green or brown but possibly on a bluish or closer to clear base as well. If there are any on a different base, I have never seen them so they would probably be rare. Post pics if you got em! :D
