Any infomation on this mini Paul Bones non-alcoholic beverage bottle?

It has the Owens ABM suction scar mark on the bottom and the I in a circle in a diamond is pre-1959 Owens Illinois Glass mark. I cant read the date code maybe a 3 or 5.

I see a 3 on the left and a guy in gray coveralls with something hanging from his belt. A 6 on top and what looks like a five to the right.

According to the Owens Illinois Glass date code its 1955, 1945, or 1935, etc.

Check it out Wacky Whiskey Spoofs I think I found it but he doesnt have my Paul Bones. . Wacky Whiskey Spoofs Johnny Wobbler and Sudden Discomfort lol

Nelson Ronsheim was a self-employed commercial artist in Cincinnati, who wrote and designed these gag bottles for Par Beverage in the 1950's. They were sold as novelties through Stucky's restaurants in little bottles of sugar-water

I sometimes come across bottles like the ones listed in Wacky Whiskey Spoofs website at flea markets or yard sales, in fact im pretty sure I know a dealer who may have 100 or so of these out in Caroline,Virginia.. I have looked @ a few before but never really researched them or bought any.. If I recall they had a deal like $20 for five of them or something. That is a kewl looking bottle though you got. Pretty neat conversation piece. I would keep it.. good luck on finding out more info on em!

Im selling everything I can in the next 2 months before I head back out to the swamp..

Im just trying to research everything first. Remember the old common looking bowl I sold for $123 a few weeks ago? You never know.

Think you can do alright on this bottle online.. I really like the label of this bottle and it seems kinda like a one of a kind though i'm sure more are out there. I would buy it for $20-$30 just because of that factor. I don't know how much the bottle really is but I will keep a look out on it when you sell it on E-Bay

Hey Bigcypress,

This is a gag bottle, playing with the Paul Jones brand. whose bottles had an embossed cameo of J. Paul Jones:

Can you tell if there's a dot after the 5? I'm betting 1955...

I will watch out for when it goes up...
While I can legally sell on eBay because its non-alcoholic, there is no need to put it to auction. If you really like the bottle I can sell it directly to you at the price you quoted..

Its very hard to see the number on a small bottle like this. I dont see a dot but Im about to mark it solved.

Thats a cool link but they dont have the Paul Bones. If Hut doesnt buy it, I may send them an email. I wonder why they dont have Paul Bones listed?

Hey surf. I could use your help on the Czecho-slovakian bottle. Monastine Liqueur.

Biggy.. I was giving you input.. i.e. If I (and many others like me) saw this say @ a flea market or antique store for sale and the dealer had a $10 or $20 price tag on it! I would buy it because I really like the vintage label! I might even go up too $40 for it because I like it personally. That is what I look for when I hunt for personal items for me and many others do the same. I know for a fact many others out there would like this bottle.

I guess you can kinda say "goth" type look too it (and that is not the reason i like it) but i think you understand.. It is a really neat gag bottle and like I said a really good conversation piece. I think the bottle is def worth $20 too $30 and i wouldn't take a dime less if I had it and it is just for the fact i like it personally..

You say quote "I would buy it for" $20-$40 dollars but in fact you are not interested in buying it at all? ??? The way you say it Hut is conflicting. Maybe Im wrong but I dont think you should include yourself as a buyer when you are just giving input. Dont say it if you dont mean it.

But no worry Hut its cool I can sell it on eBay. Myself I think the price that you are hypothetically offering is too high. Ill bet it will sell under $20 but I am just guessing. We will see. You never know you may be correct. Ill post the link later.

Did you ever buy that fire hydrant relief valve at the price you offered on another thread?

Some antique buyers say they look for "old and unusual." I guess this is kinda unusual. Ill throw it on eBay and see what happens.
