Found these next to each other by a turned over root system by the river.
Pattern - a model or plan worth repeating
Patternicity - a tendancy to find patterns in meaningless noise

The closeups are to scrutinize as score marks (?)

I just see natural rocks. I see scratches not score marks. Score marks that I have seen are usually more uniform and deliberate.

I would bet if you kept looking you will find a lot more fractured just like those. That's because that is just how some stones fracture naturally. Those are natural and not marked either.

Yeah... the same thing happened to both rocks... Nature. Thank you for reply

It took me all of 15 seconds to find this picture of rocks just like yours that are also natural.

One day you will know you were wrong and want to change your name on the site and say ...I sure hope they dont remember me when I was posting rocks. Been there done that.

You can choose not to believe me and go find a lot more just like it and pack them all home. lol

Whoa whoa whoa... I apologize for sounding curt. The same thing happened to both rocks... nature. Any better? I thought they were interesting, not necessarily something. See title of post.
And Rock you also... have rocks. I dont take my rockhonding too seriously... maybe not seriously enough I guess. My apologies... just throwing the images out there. My feelings are not hurt - Ill hear a "no".

Speak for yourself. There's no shame in being curious, asking questions, or being wrong, ever.
