Park hunt with MichiganMan

Got out today with MichiganMan, Hit a street tear out, my yard then a local park.
Hello trash central, but it provided a few goodies.
got clad, a stripper clip, a lead seal and a 189? v nickel.
Had a great time, gonna hit the dirt again tomorrow,
Thanks for looking & HH!

Yea, we had a great time. We had four coins that were 1964. standing joke was we thought every coin was going to be from 1964, and they were until Ben dug the V nick'. I got a cool horseshoe. We've got a hole in Ben's front yard that we are "diggin' to China" in... but seriously ... that hole keeps coughing up coins from 1964, one American and one Canadian: but we have a tree root problem so I'm taking a hatchet over tomorrow and we are going to get every last coin from that spot! It's a pain in the keester digging around roots! :BangHead:

Nice hunt for you guys, V nickels are cool, 1964 is cool too, 1965 is bad, lol
try one of these for roots, works much easier then a hatchet or ax, much neater too.

I seldom find v nickels, and wow this one is worn.
