PARK FINDS

[SHERMANVILLE ILLINOIS]

Nasty winter weather on the way for Illinois the next few days.

Got out for about 3 1/2 hours, hit two parks. Bit of digging in
the dirt, the woodchips, the sand.

Not much to show for it, but had a good time, relaxed hunt.

$3.60 in clad; found the Tinkerbell necklace in the vollyball sand,
had to dig for all the small plastic beads. Also a small ring, costume
type, no markings and gold color flaking off.

Nice finds SHERMANVILLE and I hear you on that weather report...we're really in for it here in northern, Michigan.

I haven't been able to detect here in Michigan for a month. Maybe I was meant to live in the deep south Right now it wouldn't be too hard to convince me. Man I hate winters more every year.

Here it seems like winter hasn't actually taken a hard hold yet....weird year.
Not that we haven't had snow and cold; we have. Just seems a lighter 'grasp' of old man winter this year

The bad weather is here in Wisconsin. The estimate of 1-3 inches and blowing snow is right on. Tonight is suppose to be 6-12 inches. I will be glad to be out of here come the end of the month.
