Paranormal Experiences

next story..
in the other pic below you will see a window with what looks like a small woman standing in it. notice the blinds. the strings to the blinds are perfectly vertical, not pushed aside as would normally be if a living person was in the window. the blinds are not moved in any way. the person in the window is either defying physics or is a ghost. i go with ghost.

the story of whats in of the window is as follows. thats the hotel st francis. i very haunted hotel in st augustine. that window is the one where a young white man and his black love lived in the 1800's. the father disaproved of the interacial relationship and signed sonny up for the military. when the day to head off to the military came around, they found sonny had hung himself. the person in the window is apparently the ghost of the girl. i shot the pic and took many pics of the window within less than a 20 minute time period. her image appears in only one of my many shots.

Under magnification, the "ghost" appears to be a stuffed toy/animal standing on the inside window ledge.

missed the part about all the other pics i took of this window within a 20 minute time period dont have the thing in the window?!?

I can respect people that believe in this stuff..but I dont.

Yes, I do believe in God and angels, etc..

However, I do not believe in ghosts etc. myself. Ive never seen or heard anything weird that couldnt be attributed to something logical. Ive lived in old basements, spend alot of time in big/old homes by myself. Nothing.

Our minds can play tricks. Believe me..I know how creepy it can be in certain environments.

Im not about to write off others experiences, but I will be highly skeptical of them. Just because they truly believe something may have happend - doesn't necessarily mean it did.

I do believe imagination can make you think you see things that aren't there but after you see several ghosts and nothing bad has happened you aren't scared anymore and it really doesn't surprise you a whole lot. That's what happened to me when I walked up on that one in the hall where I used to live. I wasn't thinking about anything but packing stuff to move to the new house we bought. I reached out to feel of it because I wanted to see if it had any substance to it or not. I didn't feel anything at all and I didn't feel the chill of the temperature in the room drop like a lot of people say they experienced. I don't expect anyone to believe me because I have laughed at many people who said they saw a ghost. You all have a good one.

I used to be a skeptic but over the past few years I have changed my mind. Here's a picture of a orb in what I believe to be an old cellar hole in the woods behind my house. Everytime I'm at this site I feel the presence of someone else and when I'm digging or swinging my detector, I'll catch a glimpse of movement out of the corner of my eye and when I look, there's nothing there. I just past it off as the leaves moving with the wind until today when I got back to the house a little while ago and loaded the pictures off my camera and saw this orb. I took 4 pictures in a row of this hole and this is the only one with the orb.

i've got tons of pics with orbs. trouble with orbs is that junk in the air can cuse them. dust particles and heavy humidity can cause them. you have to have a really bright one to be able to even give it some consideration.

I considered that and anything is possible. Today was dry and no rain and low to no humidity so that rules that out. The orb itself is actually really bright considering it was about 2:30 in the afternoon with no clouds in the sky when I took the picture. Usually the only time orbs are seen like this is a night or indoors or in situations like you said with hi humidity but I was in the woods for several hours digging and didn't even break a sweat so that tells you how humid it was. I also had to reduce the picture by half to post it on here so that makes it look different. I also considered it to be a dust particle but it and probably more would have been seen in this pic as well as the others I took plus the area had yet to be disturbed today when I took the picture. Also if you blow up the ord you can see that it magnifies the background which is something you don't get with dust particles.
But you're probably right, that's probably all it was.

In the mid 80's, I was out of work due to the closing of the mills in this area. I worked for a while managing a bar, lounge type business for a friend. One night after closing & checking out the register I looked up after putting the money in a bag & saw a 'man' walking past an archway that led into the back room. The archway was about 15' away & in the back room there was a lady's restroom & a storage room to the left, with
tables & booths lining the walls. The 'man' walked from my left to right
just inside the arch & didn't even look my way. This scared me quite a bit because I thought someone had hidden back there until I closed & was waiting to rob me. I reached down & took my gun out of the bag, crouched down & laid that gun across the bar aimed at the archway. After several minutes I heard nothing but as I thought of what I saw, the fear really kicked. Because where I saw the 'man' walking just inside 7' or 8' wide arch was impossible as there were booths 5' wide against that wall. A person would have to be at least 6' inside that room to clear the booths & this one wasn't 1' inside the archway. When I went back there , there was no in that room but me. And no, I wasn't sampling the
goods or hitting on the 'bong'.
