Looking for good places to pan near central pa. Drove to York area this weekend and couldn't find any places that were not posted or private.

That might be a good area, there are some old legends mentioning the little juniata as well. If you know of any caves along there, they might just have something hidden inside one of them if you can find the right one isn't the little juniata a tributary to the Juniata flowing into the Susquehana river? I have been in that area a couple of times and saw that Statue of Liberty in the Susquehana! That's incredible! Good luck and let me knownif you have any luck behind your house.I have tried in Blair county. The little juniata flows behind my house. More or less just messing around getting the feel for the pan. A friend of mine found a picker some where near center county. He had it checked out. Thats about it. Really just started getting into it.
