Pancho Villa's Loot

Hi all, was wondering if there were anybody out there that might be able to help me in my research for a book Im writing. I have found very little on the subject of Pancho Villa buring a treasure in the Franklin Mountains near El Paso, Tx. I have found mention of a man by the name of C.F. Degner who claims to have come across papers of Pancho Villa's which listed treasure sites one being in this location but can find little more about this. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am writing a fiction book but based on facts. Thanks in advance!

Re: Pancho Villa's Loot

Don't know if it was Panco Villas' or not....but, the nephew and cousin of a fella who worked with me in Del Rio, Texas, found a peculiar stash. Just south of Matamoros, Mexico, they found layers of silver coins....layered on cow hides. It was about a foot deep as uncovered in a shallow cave dugout. This was in 1978.
