Although as you know Pip, I'm a strong conservative, I'm not a big Palin opinion fan. I really don't give a flip what she says about anything or anyone. Right now I think Sarah is just trying to remain relevant on the political scene and that's her deal in a nutshell. Again, to be clear, I like her as a person, but I'm not a fan of her political opinions since I don't value it anymore than anyone elses.

Then the Scandaldaddy got in office, and the high price of gas came back with a vengeance.

Oh really? the price plummeted? We currently produce as much oil domestically as Saudi Arabia, but the price of gas I pay still hasn't gone down. Demand is not in control of the oil markets any more, since we currently are consuming the same amount of oil as we did in 1993! So if Sarah was so very successful with her "drill baby drill", why has supply increased dramatically, but prices are not the same to the consumer as they were in 1993?

The simple truth is oil could be free and plentiful to oil companies, and prices for gasoline would continue to rise. its about their profit, nothing else.
