wanting to hunt somewhere new for once
I headed to a Church Grove I was told by the preacher No because he didn't think
his congregation would want anyone to find their lost stuff.
since this happened about 5 years ago, I figured it was time to try again
when I got there I pulled into the parking Lot & saw a woman getting ready to walk in the church,
so I Quickly pulled up beside her & Asked.
She told me to ask at the Office so I Parked quickly & Followed her in
Practically Hyperventilating & Very uncomfortably fearing bursting into flames,
I approached the Office woman and asked. She looked friendly & said nobody ever asked.
Yea Go ahead, so I thanked her and said If I find anything that looks
identifiable I would bring it over & High tailed it to safety outside, where I could cool down in the Morning Sun.
Once outside I was able to breath again, so I parked my car as close to the park as possible
and suited up. While I was sound balancing my detector a car pulled in & the guy, I'm guessing preacher walked over & asked are you Detecting ? I said Yes Gonna give it a try.
He said just bring what you find over to the church.
I said I already told the Office lady if I find anything I Can Identify I would. he thanked me & Walked away.

Freaky Place Camera wouldn't Focus when pointing at the grove
for some reason My legs didn't like me today,
the whole time I was detecting I was in Pain walking.
felt like my legs weighed 100 pounds.
and signals were Far & Few between.
Ground was as dry as could be, Very hard at some spots, lots of roots at others
& Near the trees it just collapsed into dust when I would stick my digger in.
My gas rebate only 69 cents
my Gar-baje
possible 1942 ? wheat
and 1913 wheat
Were my only finds.
Nothing at all to take over to the church.
was in too much pain to hunt it & Nobody there,
but crossed the street before heading home
to check out their grove
Maybe I'll check it out in the future
Also caught this one out the corner of my Eye
about mile fruther east
New Church in foreground.
Grove to the right of Cemetery
Old Church appears to be abandoned
but grass needs mowed
