Yesterday, I found the point in the pics in a river site in middle Tenn. that has produced late Archaic to Woodland points. I sent the pic to TnMountains who I consider an authority on N.A. artifacts. A "Jeff' point was the closest I could find in Overstreet's book. I have found a few others like it in that site. TnMountains tells me there are real obstacles to identifying triangular points. If it is indeed a "Jeff" that would be a Paleo site but I doubt it. I'm open to comments and enjoy the video that I posted on Today's Finds. finally some plowed ground on the Cumberland river to hunt. HH, Quindy.
