I was going thru some old photos - found this one
this was an not to expensive double shotgun case
I cut foam to fit 2 Pi Pros
this worked fantastic back then until just after 9/11
when some jerk of a TSA employee thought it would be funny
to reset my combination and I had to ruin the locks
I left it unlocked - TSA pulled me aside to check it
I told him it was unlocked and I did not even set the combo
just in case it was needed to be opened again
he closed it up and pushed button that sets the combo and spun the CASE.JPG
knobs - then setting a combo that I did not know
but - I digress
just showing an example of a way to pack you machines - I carry my main
machines (2-CZ21s) with me - never had a prob
some times I will pack an older Pi as an extra back up

post your packing pics - to help others
I have a few more on other puter I will share

I carry the same machine on airplanes as well. I like to take it on the plane and store it on the overhead compartment. Iv'e done this probably over 30 times over the years. I ran into
problems only one time when leaving Hawaii. The flight attendant told me that I couldn't bring it on the plane, I asked her why and she said "You might hit someone over the head with it".
So I had to run back the the baggage area and check it in like all the regular luggage. Can't stand the idea of have my metal detector in with the other luggage. Those luggage handlers are
pretty well known for all the theft they commit.
