Made my annual trek up above the Mason Dixon line and
as always Pa. was kind to me again. Not only did I have a
very nice relaxing trip, I got to do something I've been wanting
to do for a very long time.
I was granted time to walk along side my grandson to
uncover a few finds with a metal detector.
He granted me a whole hour! Before it was time to move on
to something else! It's kind of sad. He has such a natural talent
for finding but, alas, it's not his favorite thing to do. That's his hand
up top. Notice the comparison in finds? LOL If he ever gets
serious about doing this, you guys better watch out!
Anyway, like I said, Pa is usually kind to me but like my grandson,
you northerners need to free up some time for the "better" things in life.
You're getting too busy! Even for visiting Dig-nitaries!!
I'd planned on doing a LOT of digging up there but, life just kept getting in the way.
Had a few buddies that had to beg off, too much to do. It didn't ruin anything
for me as my intention was to enjoy my family. And I did just that!
Still, I didn't JUST visit, . I managed to get my coil to the soil a few other times.
In between events and/or waiting for everyone to get ready to go do something.
I even brought along my own sunshine! For you see, it had rained
for almost 19 straight days BEFORE I ventured north. As soon as I
got there, the weather went up to 90!!! It was sooooo hot that....
But, even that wasn't good enough. Pennsylvanians were still too busy.
Managed a few keepers anyway:
Even a rather large, 16.9 gr, .925, mangled ring.
The red stones are still both there and they both look
pretty good! They also look a whole lot more red in person
than they do in these pics.
All's well that ends well and my trip did just that, I truly
enjoyed my venture AND....I got a few niceties to boot!
Everybody seems to be happy!
Thank you for peeking! And thank you, Pennsylvania, for
a very nice trip!
