P.G.A. and I don't mean alcohol SOLVED

It's a small coin the same size as a bobcat pin from the Boyscouts. My question is anyone know how they give these out ? and how often ? just curious. I've never seen or heard of these before. Am I the only one?

Sorry my fault . I know what it is ... just wanted to know how you go about getting them. I was hoping that they don't give them to EVERYONE . If so , still think its cool cause I've never seen one before .

That's a little ball mark (for golf). You get them free with a request to renew a membership in the USGA (United States Golf Association).

thank you rwsnc, I was under the impression that it was from one of the PGA tournaments . I'm a golf dummy unless it comes to putt-putt , I'm a PRO . Always wanted to learn,none of my friends have any patience . As common as they should be, you'd think that I would have seen 1 before now

Let me revise that... I shouldn't have said "it's junk". "Junk" (and "Treasure" for that matter) is in the eye of the beholder. Keep on finding.

thanks everyone that replied. I was really off on the what is it part. I just simply thought it was a token out of a "goody bag" for spectating. How in the world can someone keep up with that on the ground. The dark bronze color would make me need a marker for my ball marker,if that makes any sense.

Yeah, I thought it was too dark to be used as a ball marker too. The only color that would have been worst would be green. I just thought that's what it was intended for, but maybe not. Keep it in the short grass. Fore.....
