Family Hunter is reporting that Eagle from Coarsegold and longtime dredger and propector in the Briceburg and Southern Motherload has passed away. He was writing a book of his adventures and of the great treasure stories of the region, and the colorful people he met from a bygone era. My heart is broken, but I pray for his safe journey, and I will always remember him. RIP Eagle

Ah man, RIP Eagle! Thank you for being so gracious with your time and memories, our community will be a poorer place without you!

Sad way to start a day,,i so enjoyed reading and re.reading his thread..he was such a talented storyteller made me feel like i was there..he is one i look forward to seeing when i am done here...RIP

WOW wasn't expecting this. RIP as a good man and a great miner. He visited my claims upriver many a time and always a great jabberjaw about the river and days of old there. Respect-John

This from his minning partner.

Its true everyone, he passed away from heart failure at Saint Agnes in Fresno 9/29/2014 at around 10:30pm...

It's always sad to hear of the passing of a fellow miner that had the respect of so many of his brother miners. May he rest in peace in that great mother lode in the sky.
