Nice pics Capt Dom, thanks for those and the info!!

Since I saw the older post with a picture I've been doing some research into modular pontoons.

It just might allow me to build my dream digging machine.

Now to just sort through vertical drive, horizontal prop options! ;D

Remember the name of the modular pontoon company
is Wilson Manufacturing. Ask for Shelby Wilson. They
make 30 and 36 inch diameter modules as well and they
average around 10 or so feet a section.

The larger pontoons are good if you are going to have a heavier
live load. That fact that they are foam filled and have stainless
steel female 3/8's mounting grommets molded in for angle linear
cross member decking simplifies construction but makes for a flexible
deck surface.
