Ornate Brass Unknown

Hello All. Found this item deep in an old farm field...it was just a nice whisper, nearly a foot down.

It's brass and length, width, height are about 2-IN x 3/4 IN x 5/8-IN.

Not sure on this one...saddle brass?...stove part?

Hello bradyboy. I dunno...it's difficult to id this thing, but it looks a bit older than the 1930's coins I've dug nearby.
