I found it all in same place 2 feet from old foundation 6-8" down, was in half a beer can. "I dig everything" is going to be my motto, I will not discriminate, ever. LOL

I've been detecting nearly one year now and though months ago I'd found a silver pendant on a beach dig, I'd never found any silver coin after many months --- until ten days ago when I also found a lovely 1923 Peace Dollar! Mine was a dusty surface find and I still barely believe it. They were minted only for a few years. HH Andi

My first silver dollar was also a peace dollar. I had seen a hoard of people pass it, it was hidden slightly by a large piece of steel.

Congrats on joining the club so soon, as initiation you have to get the rest of us

Looks like the "beginner luck" ran out. Today was just 2 pennies, 1 hunk of rust and 5000 mosquitos ( all hungry).

cant tell but it was an aluminum can . The dates on coins/cleanliness and the can dont add up. I am gonna dig up anything and evreything and see what this mystery might be. My own little treasure hunt mystery.
