I have never found this type of material in my area that's why I love this one so much. But anyway, any idea what would cause this cavity? Its almost all the way through I can't believe it isn't broken considering its been in a field rolling around for years.

Yeah I live in the coastal plains just never seen this material that's why I love it so much, I found it Tuesday was walking for about 2 hours after work getting frustrated bc I hadn't really found any, I spotted 30 feet away. I let out a wild warhoop, I think I even gave it a kiss ha

nice 1 jonathan. that hole you see is a fossil inclusion. it's where probably a shell was part of the sediment that adventually became chert.
