Well I originally signed up for this site becasue I metal detect....but tonight to my amazement I noticed the mediums / paranormal section...

I have struggled with this for years and want to share one of many experiences. First off, I am a State Trooper, I have been to alot of horrible crash scene's and suicides over the past 6 years. I have seen full body aparitions and have communicated with them on a few occassions. One I would like to share was a Crash on a local freeway a few years ago. I will not disclose the location or even the city for respect of the victim and his family.

I was dispatched to the scene of a motorcycle crash with a complete amputation of the victims leg. On arrival, I located the motorcycle, and shortly after, the victim. He had essientially straightened out a curve and struck a guardrail without turning. He was ejected off of his motorcycle after losing his leg and thrown thru the air into what we call the "gore" of the freeway. This specific scene was the area on the opposite side of the entrance ramp. The gore was a horseshoe shaped grassy area with limited visibility.

Once I located the victim I immediately put a pair of gloves on and started bandaging his wounds after doing a quick assessment. The freeway was closed down because the two front vehicles slowed and stopped to help. No vehicles were traveling north bound past us. The two witness's were already with the victim and doing everything they could to help. As I cared for the victim I was tapped on the shoulder by a female wearing a blue coat. She was approximately 30-40 years old with brown hair and brown eyes. I will never forget her face.. She said "I used to be a nurse, can I help" Extremely happy with the offer, I allowed her to grab a pair of gloves from my kit and begin helping me. I watched her put the gloves on her tiny hands without any problems (because I had a horribly hard time getting mine on since my hands were sweaty hands....It was mid summer and about 100 degrees out).

I picked up the vicitms existing leg which was amputated at the knee and began applying a pressure bandage to the remaining portion,,,I held the bandage and she wrapped the leg as if she did it 100 times in the past. The victim opened his eyes and began talking to us while we cared for him. I was able to determine his crash was a result of a medical condition and tried to calm him as we treated him. Its hard to be there with someone innocent at their last moments... I called and requested a Helicopeter to land in the closed freeway to transport the victim, and continued to bandage and monitor his condition. Before the helo arrived, a ambulance showed up for the transport. Due to the lack of traffic it was decided to have him transported immediately instead of waiting for the bird. I helped back board the victim and told my two witness's and nurse to remain on scene, so I could tell them thank you in person, and second get there names for the report.

After locating the lower portion of the victims leg, I watched the ambulance speed off. I returned to the gore to clean up and get traffic flowing. To my amazement only two of my witness's were still on scene. I asked the witness's where the nurse had gone...and did not get a response. After repeating the question a few times, the female sensed I was a little upset , the female witness asked if she could speak to me alone. Once away from the other Troopers and witness she told me she had not seen anyone else on scene other than the male witness, and me. I double checked with the other Trooper on scene and was assured no vehicles had left since the freeway was still closed. Unable to think too hard about it I got back to work and opened the freeway. I completed the investigation and contacted a senior Troop to respond and take measurments of the scene. When he arrived an hour later he said "Are you alright brother....you really look pale"...I described the entire situation to him and I then realized he was the one that was pale....

Apparently about 16 years earlier, a real bad rollover crash occurred at the same location. A nurse for the nearby university had stopped on her way to work to render aid. She crawled inside the car with the pinned victims and offered as much assistance as she could. Once completed, she crawled back out to get some more gear and call 911 when she was struck by an out of control vehicle and killed. She was wearing a blue coat and was a brunette. My partner handled the crash....

This is when I realized I had a special gift. I have a hard time talking about it, as many of you probably do too. Thanks for letting me share my story. Any feedback would greatly be appreciated.

A couple of thoughts

First off, thank you for the service you provide. Guys like you pulled my family out of a car crash (drunk tried to pass and pulled out right into my Dad's car.) and saved my Mom's life when I was seven. I've had two speeding tickets in my life...cursed myself each time for not being more careful...and was grateful someone was there to get me to attend to my driving.

Second, you want a response!? You're story just about made me respond in my shorts. I know a guy who clears spirits from homes around here....and brother I hope you don't get as sensitive as he...it wears on him, can see it in his face.

I would take it when it comes, but not go looking for it...you have a hard enough job already.

Dan,

I appreciate your kind words and apologize for any bad experiences you have had in the past with Police Officers. (although 2 tickets isnt bad at all) I have personally met "those guys" that give all of us a bad name. Job or not, we do have a job to do, but you have to be fair and respectful. I treat everyone with respect, if its just a regular traffic stop or if its the guy that held my life in his hands on the 26th of January 2010...

I was almost killed on a routine traffic stop by a wanted felon with a stolen weapon....he decided to let me live for some reason and put the revolver he cocked under the rear seat instead of killing me when I approached his vehicle. I cant be mad at him, I was enraged for a moment knowing I was that close to death, but after speaking to him during the interview I bought him a soda and asked him why he didnt shoot me....he just said "becasue you were very professional and alert....and I knew I couldnt have done it without getting hurt myself",,,, A little off track..but always professional and friendly...it paid me back finally ;D

As far as sightings and things...I dont look for them, they usually find me...I dont know what to think of it, but I dont dislike it either. I have had some experiences that were confusing to me, I would like to communicate a bit more and I would feel alot better about it if I understood it a bit more.....

Sounded like you misunderstood a little, I've had nothing but good experiences with State Troopers.

:icon_thumleft: c3, Law Enforcement? So WAS I... "google" "BLUE SENSE": COPS & PARANORMAL ;D Gotta keep it quiet, tho. :coffee2: Coffee? Donuts? :coffee2: :icon_thumleft: ;D

Craig:
Thank you for your service. I have family members who were members of the law enforcement community and have an idea of the pressures of your job.
Have you seen that program with the man that helps children with paranormal abilities come to grips with their gift? I'm thinking that if you could get in touch with him or another, experienced medium or sensitive, they might could help you "get control" of your gift and become better able to use it. I have no doubt that you'll need complete secrecy because of your job and the narrow-mindness of many folks today concerning such subjects.
I wish you the best.

:icon_thumleft: Ss is correct; PSYCHIC KIDS with "Chip" as ONE teacher... they work with family members, too. ANOTHER TV show of interest is PARANORMAL COPS; with Chicago, Ill.
"finest"; detectives by day... paranormal researchers by night. I like the cop chewing on his cigar; SOME of 'em armed, with side-arm; use of TASER,is a BETTER idea... they used it. LOL... NO self-respecting "ghost" is gonna "hang around" for the NEXT TASER "buzz"... LOL! :D NOW, on Thursdays 10 am/est BIO (266 on Direct TV); 01/17/11. :icon_thumleft: :coffee2: :coffee2: :coffee2: Coffee? ;D

Z,

I know it took a lot of guts to post your story. While it was some time ago, these experiences don't leave us, so I thought I'd give my 'take' on it. I'm no expert with a shingle, but have been studying this sort of 6th sense thing for some years, as many things have happened to me, as well.

In the traumatic experience you were going through, you of course mentally and with passion asked for help, strength, whatever it would take to help the injured. The spirit of the nurse was close at hand and offered to give a hand. It was a great thing to be open to the help and no need to understand it, just be thankful for the experience.

:coffee2: :icon_thumleft: ;D If ya can, do newspaper research on ORIGINAL crash/death of nurse from years ago;
MAY be a "pic" of her, and statement of reporting officer (State Police). SOME spirits "hang around" site(s) of trauma to offer POSITIVE assistance and are NOT seen by everyone; YOU are "gifted" with "second sight", and you MAY not be a "spirit magnet"... as you CAN learn to "shut it off" (I did). You get "used to it", after a while; just remain silent about it.

:o :o......I reread and reread this.... You are saying you seen her put on the gloves and kept doing your thing then realized she was gone?....just trying to understand the situation...OR was it in your mind that "you" did what you "thought" you seen? Not saying you actually didn't see the nurse,... not poking fun. Just trying to shed some light on this situation here my friend..... maybe the spirit of the nurse guided you to do the right thing????
