One More Thread, Yesterday's Hunt
We're just never, ever going to get the metal detector out. It's just too interesting digging in mud. It's also been encouraging having answers. Hope it isn't annoying having the new person drag in every, single pebble and piece of grass. Maybe not the best treasure hunter, not incredibly interested in value. Ok, wait until something shows up which might be, I am sure will change that story although it's true.
Part of our general feedback dilemma has been being in PA. There's not a lot which is on our geo map- we do have something we think is either common opal or chalcedony. It's too soft to be quartz? Found one today the others earlier.
Others, we'd only be guessing. Really would appreciate help if anyone isn't tired of all these threads.
One group looked really, really blue under water- just grayish quartz? And I think the white/pink oblong might be a common opal clam? It's not a good photo; it has rings, some pink tinges on top. ( Not yesterday's hunt, found that last Fall. )
