My guess is that it's a 15" rim, but I'm not 100% sure. Let me know if you think this is worth dragging home!

Okay, it's a 15x5 rim with a 4.75" bolt pattern. Probably isn't worth squat, but I need to know!
TAKE IT HOME!! If your luck is like mine, you'll leave it behind and a few days later you'll see a Craigs list ad looking for one offering $50 cash. If you take it home, it'll make a good base for a grinder or a cool tetherball base for the kids.

That's right when I was looking up that size there was a guy looking on that forum for that size don't know if it was a current question though.Heck baking soda blasted it will be good as new.

I did drag it home! Man, my garage is going to be full of rusty car parts if I keep going back there! I'll try to clean it up and see if I can get a number somewhere on it. I'll keep you posted.

One more note. I've tried to find a match on eBay, but haven't been able to find one that looks exactly like that one. Could be rare or maybe it's so common that no one bothers to put them on eBay! We'll see...

Okay, I think I figured it out. I sanded the rim and there's yellow painted lettering inside the rim. I think it reads "57-64 Chevy". I did a search on eBay and found an early 1960's Chevy wagon rim and it looks like a perfect match to my rim. Not worth a heck of a lot, but I think I'll keep it for now. Thanks for all the help!

It's a common practice for an auto dismantler to mark a wheel that way. Maybe you found an old wrecking yard.

If there's old trim parts in good shape there they would be likely worth grabbing and putting them on eBay...
