those are very nice. Some of us have to work for a living and don't get a chance to get on the puter throughout the day.

I had a teller give me a 1938 silver certificate the other day. Twas nice getting somethng like that at face value.

:) :) I was joking. I knew I'd take some sh%t for that one.

Thanks for the reply.

Nice Barr note!

Nice finds. I have been looking for my first radar for a while, they are harder to find than you think. ;D

I agree. I went through 6,000 $1 notes to find that one. It was nice and very crisp, very few light bends or folds, so it was worth it.

I've found a few that were torn and really well circulated. That's a little less fulfilling.

I watch this board but have been travelling a lot this summer. Glad to see you have been searching $1s. Some interesting finds can be had for sure.

FYI no such thing as a 1938 silver certificate. Most likely a 1935.

I don't knwo the first thing about currency so I haven't paid much attention to it. Other than the Barr note, they all look alike to me? Pardon my ignorance. M :tongue3: nty

Monty, the others are 'star notes'. Google it. It's just as much fun as CRHing.

on the 74, do you keep anything before 1990, or only if its in crisp condition? Same question about the 80s.
