HB 3089 will study the Mineral and mining potentials of eastern and southern Oregon
and give Oregon Department of Geology and Mineral Industries some much needed funds.

DOGAMI has been focused more on landslide mapping and earth quakes these last few years
its not much but its something, they will be putting the mineral reports online on their web page next year.

Well at least you have a Division of Minerasl.Ours was closed down completely now and turned over to the Dept. of Consevation who inform you nothing available and it's because NOBODY mines in kalifornica anymore...sic sic sic end as we were founded and grew great through mining but history being rewitten. Glad to see new studies but will they get tainted with the green agenda, god I hope not for Oregon Miners sake-John

With the California budget problems over the last decades I'm surprised they have any offices for public services of any type open any more. Seems if a department isn't one that will make money for the state then it is shut down. I think it's time for the people to demand that the politicos stop spending money like a bunch of drunken sailors and show some responsibility on how the peoples money is being spent.

...To dream... The IMPOSSIBLE DREAM...... I know John, Until we get the "Sheeple" to wake up we're pretty much stuck with this situation.
