Got a call about 11 Am from ROMEO 1 to go on a dig.

Location #1 was unavailable, so another location it had to be....after an hour, and a half finally tracked down an owner. Very few targets is putting it politely. So we stopped at one of those stand by type places in hopes of getting something, and I did manage one coin. A common one, but decent condition, so that's a plus.

Wasn't going to post, but ROMEO reminded me how hard we worked for it. Thanks for stand bys.

PS I've never taken anyone there before, because 1 it's a close fix for me, and 2 it almost always has one more to give.

Yep, that's a nice one Rick...will clean up nice and looks to have a great patina hiding under the dirt!

Good looking coin Rick. Don't find many in that good condition very often.Hh

Don't feel bad, a local cent is all I got too! But I won't be posting it. :)

Man that one is in good shape there Rick, I see you and Romeo decided to leave all the silver in the ground for me....Thanks guys:thumbsup:
I am still moving my daughter into her new place and now I have to fix the muffler on the van so I am not going to be able to hunt today.
Take care buddy and good luck. Watch out for those skunks:laughing7:.

It's nice to see a good looking copper coming out of the ground, she'll clean up very nice indeed.

Lots of detail and will clean nicely...yup gotta love those standbys, they usually save the day....

Awesome condition, congrats!

Very nice shape RICK.

I got a couple of those--- they both in good shape..maybe its the material in them that preserves them better than others.

Beauty coin man... that would make any hunt a good one in my books!

I'd take that one. Don't you wish those early coppers came out looking like that?
